This pipe fitting enquiry is presented as an ASTM A182 304 stainless steel forged flange with 2 Inch DIN PN16 wording. Confirm the actual selected fitting type and dimensional system before matching it to a mating joint. Material, facing and operating requirements need selected documentation.
Match the nominal system and the complete flange drawing
For a flange request, identify the exact DIN dimensional document and edition, nominal size, PN designation and face type. Obtain bore, thickness, outside diameter, bolt-circle and hole details. The 2 Inch wording needs a clear nominal-size mapping rather than an assumed conversion from a selectable millimetre label.
The available 10, 12, 14, 50 and 30 mm labels, Customized Size wording and mounting-hole diameter 0.2 in do not establish a compatible joint. Confirm an accepted drawing with tolerances. PN16 and Pipe Class 150 require separately identified systems and should not be assumed interchangeable.
Specify selected grade and supplied flange construction
Stainless Steel, Alloy and Carbon Steel are separate selections. Request the exact material specification, actual grade designation and heat-traceable certificate; 304 does not qualify every material choice. Forged requires selected production and inspection evidence against the requested specification.
Establish actual flange construction and its pipe interface on the selected drawing. Welding requires defined preparation and matching wall. Do not assign a weld-neck, slip-on, threaded or blind version from gallery examples. Specify sealing-face finish, mating flange, gasket and bolting as one compatible assembly.
Rate the joint with its material and exposure conditions
Neither PN16 nor Class 150 alone provides a numerical working limit. Assess actual material, joint, medium, pressure, temperature and governing design requirements. Define paint extent and treatment of sealing or weld surfaces; gallery colour does not specify delivery. Include actual fitting type, exact dimensional/rating document, face drawing, grade records, joint components and duty with the enquiry.
