This ASTM A106 SCH10 welded 45-degree pipe elbow enquiry needs an accepted material and fitting specification before industrial selection. Confirm the delivered configuration against the actual half-inch choice. The product name alone cannot establish the supplied grade, wall thickness or installation end arrangement.
Establish the half-inch end specification
The actual choice is Elbow with a half-inch size label and Stainless Steel wording. Agree the supplied material specification, grade, product condition and inspection traceability before ordering against carbon-steel or A106 naming. Confirm the intended A106 scope for the component without treating a material reference as complete fitting certification.
Identify both ends on the drawing, including the nominal size and measured dimensions. The repeated length and height range and the 0.25-inch mounting-hole value do not establish the delivered pipe ends. Clarify the joining method and any thread requirement before approving welding preparation or an NPT connection.
Verify SCH10 and the requested angle
Specify the required 45-degree angle, centerline radius, center-to-end dimensions, bore, wall thickness and tolerances. Tie SCH10 to the selected size and accepted dimensional basis rather than transferring a schedule label across unrelated dimensions. Equal or Hexagon wording cannot replace that complete drawing.
Agree the manufacturing route and inspection requirements for the supplied elbow. Welded naming and Cold Pressed processing need component-specific documentation; they do not independently establish the installation end configuration. Define the polished finish as an acceptance requirement rather than evidence of corrosion performance.
Review the industrial operating envelope
Provide the actual medium, pressure, temperature, cycling, corrosion conditions and imposed loads. The 1.6Mpa entry needs its material, temperature and design or test basis, while Not Rated supplies no certified pressure class. Confirm the required installation and inspection procedure and any OEM or ODM scope. Agree the stated one-year warranty conditions with the quotation.
