Use this ASME B16.9 WP304L stainless-steel equal-tee listing to discuss the required branch connection and SCH5S specification. Confirm the quoted component before selecting connected pipe. Light-colored tee reference images and their markings cannot certify the alloy, schedule, nominal size or manufacturing route supplied.
Resolve material and fitting identity first
The recorded choices use Reducer type wording with Carbon Steel or a234wpb material labels, which differ from the stainless-steel tee title. Obtain written confirmation of the delivered shape and full material designation before treating this as an accepted WP304L equal tee.
One shared 1/2-to-110-inch option label is not proof of continuous size availability. The title wording 1 2inch also needs an explicit interpretation rather than an assumed nominal size. Clarify measurement conventions and the Metric table entry for the individual quotation.
Specify the SCH5S branch drawing and production basis
Provide run/branch end diameters, branch angle, center-to-end dimensions, actual wall/end thickness, preparation and tolerances. Identify the applicable SCH5S dimensional basis and B16.9 document/edition. Interpret Equal and Hexagon against the approved drawing; customized length, height, hole, feature and thread entries require defined requirements where relevant.
Establish material condition, traceability and conformity evidence. Explain FORGED technique and welded title wording through the actual body-production records, separately from Welding installation attachment. Agree Plain supplied surface condition and inspection criteria without inferring corrosion resistance from appearance.
Confirm duty after configuration is agreed
High Pressure and Stainless Steel under Pipe Class provide no numerical pressure rating. State medium, pressure, temperature, cycling, loads, material compatibility and connected joint conditions. Listed industrial applications need appropriate acceptance. Agree material/manufacturing/dimensional and joint inspection, installation, marking, confirmed supply availability, OEM deliverables and stated one-year warranty terms.
