This painted carbon steel tee is listed for high-pressure pipelines with ASME B16.9 and hydraulic-bulging references. The original image shows tee forms, but the selectable type reads Reducer. Establish the exact ordered fitting and approved drawing before choosing a configuration from the broad size range.
Review the forming and seamless references
The title uses Forged, Hydraulic Bulging and Seamless to describe the component. Confirm which manufacturing route applies to the actual supply and request the relevant production and inspection records. These words do not by themselves establish how the selected fitting was made or accepted.
Define the applicable ASME B16.9 edition and fitting coverage with the project requirements. Agree the dimensional and manufacturing acceptance for the actual component. A standard reference in the title is a starting point for clarification, rather than evidence that a particular supplied tee meets every requirement.
Approve tee geometry and painted surfaces
Specify run and branch sizes, bore, wall requirements, center-to-end dimensions, welding end preparation and tolerances. Confirm the Equal field using the actual drawing, and resolve the Reducer option mapping. Metric, Hexagon and Customized Size entries do not replace dimensional values or agreed units.
Request the supplied material grade, condition and traceability documentation. Carbon Steel and a234wpb are selectable labels, not material certificates. For Painting, define the paint system, covered surfaces, surface acceptance and inspection criteria, including how the supplied coating is documented and protected during handling.
Establish pipeline operating acceptance
Identify the fluid, composition, contaminants, pressure, temperature, cycles, transients and loads for the installation. High Pressure and Other class provide no numerical allowable envelope. Assess the selected material, geometry and joint under the project requirements, then agree production documentation, dimensional and end checks, coating inspection, marking, preservation and delivery.
