This B16.9 carbon steel reducer listing provides eccentric and concentric options as an enquiry context for plumbing projects. Actual DN150, DN125 and DN100 variants each identify a single nominal size. Specify the complete reducing pair and chosen profile before converting the listing into an order.
Confirm the selected reducer drawing
Identify both larger and smaller nominal ends, outside diameters, bores and wall requirements. Agree transition length/profile, tolerances and offset or orientation where the chosen construction requires them. A DN label does not establish measured diameter, and the current variants do not separately select eccentric or concentric geometry.
Overall Length, Height and Mounting hole diameter repeat half-inch-to4-inch ranges. Obtain explicit allocation to the individual drawing rather than using those entries as measured geometry or proof of holes. Confirm supply of the selected end-size pair and profile.
Identify the ASTM document and supplied reducer ends
The title’s ASTM reference lacks a document number and grade. Request the actual material specification, condition, traceability and certificates without assuming A234 WPB. Agree the governing B16.9 edition and applicable configuration, with manufacturing evidence supporting forged construction.
Welding and NPT fields require clarification of the actual supplied ends and mating pipes; do not assume a combined threaded/welded reducer. Define joining preparation and inspection. Specify polished surfaces and finish acceptance without treating corrosion-resistant wording as proof of a particular protective treatment.
Set the plumbing service requirements
Plumbing wording does not certify drinking-water suitability. Low Pressure and Other class leave numerical operating limits unconfirmed. State fluid, pressure, temperature, cycling, loads and corrosion compatibility. Obtain system acceptance, then agree alignment, inspection, marking, required records, individual availability and quotation scope.
