A three-piece flanged ball-valve and pneumatic-actuator enquiry should identify the valve assembly and the operating package separately. The selected valve needs a defined mechanism, internal support arrangement and connection drawing. The actuator scope also needs to be clear before the assembly can be compared with the intended control duty. Use those requirements to organize the technical information for one model.
Identify the Valve Body and Ball Support
Obtain a section drawing that establishes the valve mechanism and identifies the selected internal arrangement. If the project requires a floating or trunnion-supported ball, state that requirement explicitly and have the proposed model matched to it. Request the body assembly drawing when three-piece construction is required. Define the body, ball and seat materials independently, with an exact grade or specification for each component.
Separate Pneumatic Equipment from Valve Scope
Specify whether the enquiry covers a valve alone or a complete pneumatic package. For pneumatic operation, describe the control-air conditions, operating sequence and required operating behavior. Obtain the actuator selection and sizing evidence for the proposed valve and duty. Confirm what operating equipment belongs to the assembly and how it connects to the valve. An image of a valve body does not define the contents of an actuator package.
Match the Package to Pipeline Conditions
Compare the flange facing, drilling, port and face-to-face dimensions with the mating pipeline. Name the medium and record the service temperatures in a consistent unit system. Request a qualified pressure-temperature envelope and sealing specification for that same valve configuration. Complete the enquiry with the assembly drawing, support arrangement, component grades, actuator scope and interface dimensions. Reviewing those records together helps establish whether the proposed package matches the installation and operating requirements.
