This elbow and pipe-bend enquiry combines a requested 180-degree long-radius return with ANSI B16.9 and XS wall requirements. Carbon steel and stainless steel appear in the title, while Alloy is another material option. Select the intended type and material first so the dimensional and inspection package describes the actual fitting being considered.
Distinguish the elbow and bend before sizing the return
The options include both Elbow and bend. Ask which selected model is offered and obtain its drawing with the required angle, actual centreline radius, end-centre spacing and overall envelope. Confirm the applicable B16.9 edition and dimensional acceptance for that model. The row of curved fittings in the photograph supports the general family but does not verify return geometry for each option. Check installation spacing and room for welding and inspection against the adjoining pipes.
Specify XS wall against the chosen end dimensions
Explain the millimetre size labels and identify equal-end nominal size, outside diameter and actual wall at both openings. Relate XS to that selected size and dimensional record rather than assuming one thickness or substituting a schedule. Define butt-weld preparation. The Hexagon and mounting-hole fields do not establish the return envelope. Request the exact material specification and grade separately for Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel or Alloy; a generic material label cannot qualify all three alternatives.
Complete the manufacturing and service evidence
Verify Forged with traceable production and inspection records. Define coating preparation, coverage and weld-end condition beyond Painting. Supply mating-pipe specifications, fluid, pressure, temperature and corrosion conditions and agree joining and inspection requirements for the complete joint. Pipe Class 150 alone does not establish allowable duty. Customized Size does not confirm arbitrary dimensional capability or availability. Acceptance should identify the selected type, return drawing, size-linked XS wall and matching material records.
