This pipe fitting enquiry is presented as a seamless forged carbon steel butt-weld equal tee. Two actual variants use TEE with one broad size label and either Stainless Steel or Carbon Steel. Accept the actual supplied construction, complete end drawing and production evidence before selecting the fitting for service.
Confirm the construction and all three tee ends
Obtain selected-product identification and an accepted construction drawing. For tee supply, specify both run ends and the branch diameter, bores, walls, center-to-end dimensions, orientation and tolerances. Equal requires dimensional acceptance; a single broad range does not define all openings.
The apostrophe-marked range is one actual size option. Confirm its units and diameter basis rather than treating it as independently selectable nominal sizes or silently converting it to inches or feet. The mounting-hole label is not the flow-opening size. Dark and grey tee photographs do not certify the delivered subtype or exact geometry.
Accept butt-weld preparation and actual manufacture
Specify end preparation, mating pipe-wall compatibility and joining inspection for every accepted connection. Obtain actual manufacturing records to establish the supplied production route; seamless, forged and welding wording cannot replace those records. Distinguish how the body was made from how it joins the pipe.
Request the exact carbon or stainless material specification, selected grade and heat-traceable certificate with matching identification. Painting and customization require accepted coating chemistry, extent, thickness and inspection. Example colour supplies no protection certificate, while a retained brand label does not independently verify the manufacturer.
Qualify the fitting against the actual requested duty
Not Rated supplies no certified operating envelope. Petroleum, natural-gas and water-disposal wording requires acceptance for actual medium composition, temperature, pressure cycles and complete joint. Send confirmed construction, all end dimensions and unit basis, grade certificate, production and coating requirements, full operating duty and inspection criteria. Approve the selected component against those documents before installation.
