This stainless-steel pipe-fitting enquiry includes 201, 304 and 316 references, but the selected type needs clarification. The title and table say Elbow, the photograph shows three elbows, and all actual type variants say reducer. Confirm the offered fitting and variant mapping before assigning geometry or an exact material grade.

Resolve the fitting type against the actual variant drawing

Obtain a selected drawing tied to the intended choice rather than accepting either source label by default. For an elbow requirement specify angle, centreline radius, tangent and centre-to-end dimensions, equal-end nominal sizes, outside diameters and walls. A reducer selection instead needs both end sizes, actual walls, transition length/profile and centreline relationship, resolving the Equal field. Explain the millimetre choices under the confirmed type. The photograph cannot establish the actual form of every offered variant.

Select one stainless grade with supporting records

Choose the intended 201, 304 or 316 reference and obtain the complete material specification, edition and traceable grade evidence. These are alternative requirements, not three simultaneous grades. Alloy and Carbon Steel options need separate assignments. Agree the dimensional fitting standard and actual wall requirements; no angle, schedule, radius designation or numbered standard appears in the title. Verify Forged through production and inspection documentation instead of metallic appearance.

Qualify the chosen geometry within its pipe joint

Match actual end construction and preparation to the adjoining pipes, with alignment, joining procedure and inspection access appropriate to the confirmed fitting. Define Painting through coating specification and weld-zone condition. Supply fluid, pressure, temperature, corrosion and mechanical loads for complete-joint assessment; Pipe Class 150 alone does not establish allowable duty. Confirm offered dimensions and availability beyond Customized Size, then base acceptance on reconciled type, selected drawing and traceable material, manufacturing and joint evidence.
