This steel pipe listing is intended for steam boiler enquiries. Although the title describes seamless construction and high-pressure use, the table identifies ERW and includes both Non-Alloy and stainless steel classifications. Selection therefore requires the actual supplied material, manufacturing evidence and boiler requirements to be confirmed together.
Establish material and construction for boiler duty
Obtain the material specification, grade, condition and traceable inspection records for the offered pipe. Resolve the material classifications before accepting thermal or mechanical properties. Confirm the actual seamless or ERW route through production documentation; visible pipe ends and printed markings in a photograph cannot replace that evidence.
Identify the governing boiler specification or code, edition and ordered product scope. The generic ASTM entry does not define a complete material requirement. API and ISO 9001 labels likewise do not certify the pipe for the intended steam system. Agree the conformity package needed for the particular installation.
Match the selected pipe to the boiler drawing
The two variants associate a thickness range of 6–20 mm with either a 12 m or 6 m length. Order an actual wall and diameter rather than relying on ranges alone. Specify bore, end preparation, straightness, roundness and length tolerance. Relate the 219–1066 mm outside-diameter entry to the selected component on the drawing.
Clarify which measured dimension the ±1% tolerance covers and how it will be checked. Confirm Cold Rolled finish, Non-oiled condition and transport protection. Match end geometry and joint requirements to the boiler arrangement; appearance does not establish machining accuracy, supplied condition or readiness for the proposed connection.
Agree steam conditions and inspection evidence
Provide steam pressure, temperature, quality, chemistry, operating cycles, transients and external loads. Assess the verified material, wall, route and joints against these conditions. Set material, dimensional, end, surface and required project tests with acceptance criteria and records. High-pressure wording alone supplies no allowable pressure, temperature limit or guaranteed boiler service performance.
