This butt-weld pipe fitting enquiry references a tee, SCH40 and SCH80, and A403 WP316 alongside stainless and carbon steel. Actual options include both TEE and Elbow types. Choose the intended type first, then establish its exact material and wall specification; these title references do not qualify every combination in the menu.
Give the tee run and branch their own dimensions
For a TEE selection, request a drawing identifying both run ends and the branch, with nominal sizes, outside diameters, walls and centre-to-end dimensions. Clarify how Equal in the retained table applies to that drawing. The dark tee photos show different apparent branch proportions but cannot establish an equal or reducing configuration. An Elbow selection instead needs its own two-end dimensions, angle and bend radius; the table's Elbow label does not describe the tee's branch layout.
Assign SCH40 or SCH80 to the chosen ends
The menu provides one millimetre label for a fitting rather than all its end dimensions. Map that label to the adjoining pipes and specify the actual nominal convention. State which schedule applies, its corresponding wall and tolerances for each end. Neither title schedule is separately assigned to an option, and neither supplies a pressure limit. Check butt-weld preparation, wall alignment and joining inspection at every pipe connection.
Keep the WP316 enquiry tied to traceable material
Obtain the complete material specification, edition and evidence for any proposed A403 WP316 supply. Broad Stainless Steel wording does not establish that qualification. Carbon Steel and Alloy alternatives require their own exact material requirements, without inheriting WP316 from nearby title text. Verify Forged through production records and clarify Painting and required joint-zone condition. Hexagon and mounting-hole entries do not establish fitting geometry. Determine the standard and material-temperature basis of Class 150, then review actual fluid, corrosion, pressure, temperature and mechanical loads for the selected branch or bend and its completed joints.
