This Schedule 80 reducer enquiry references ANSI, SS316 stainless steel, carbon steel and concentric or eccentric forms. Actual variants identify reducer, while the body also lists Equal and Elbow. Resolve the end relationship first: the menu does not establish a selected reduction or assign either centreline arrangement to every option.
Confirm the transition and choose one centreline arrangement
Obtain a drawing linked to the selected variant showing both nominal sizes, outside diameters, overall length and end-axis relationship. Clarify Equal against the intended reduction; the body Elbow label is not an actual offered type. Specify concentric or eccentric form and the required installation orientation. Dark and silver tapered photographs cannot establish the selected geometry, material or manufacturing route.
Assign Schedule 80 to each documented end size
A single millimetre menu label cannot define both ends of a reducer. Explain its nominal-size convention and verify both walls against the adjoining pipes. Schedule 80 requires size-specific dimensional and inspection evidence; it does not mean one fixed thickness or allowable pressure. Hexagon, the mounting-hole value and Customized Size cannot complete that mapping. ANSI also needs a full numbered designation and edition.
Keep the SS316 requirement separate from carbon alternatives
For the stainless enquiry, specify the exact SS316 material requirement and traceable documents without substituting 316L or assuming dual qualification. Carbon Steel and Alloy choices need their own exact specifications. Define Welding through the actual end preparation, alignment and joining inspection for the confirmed transition; no particular weld-end design is assigned. Verify Forged and clarify Painting and joint-zone finish. Establish Pipe Class 125's basis before assessing fluid, pressure, temperature, corrosion and loads across the reducer and both pipe joints.
