This long-distance pipeline enquiry presents a 90-degree elbow with heavy-wall and FBE coating wording. The available variant identifies Carbon Steel and a broad pipe-size range. Establish the actual wall, end connection and coating package before using those title references as a supply specification.
Specify the heavy wall and elbow geometry
Provide the selected pipe size, outside diameter, wall thickness or schedule, bend radius and center-to-end dimensions. Heavy Wall and Thick do not supply a numerical wall value. Confirm bore requirements and tolerances against the mating pipe, including any required dimensional inspection.
The table combines Welding with an NPT thread field. Ask for the actual end drawing rather than assuming either a threaded or welded connection arrangement. The repeated 1/2–12 inch ranges under length, height and mounting-hole diameter are not independent measured dimensions for the selected elbow.
Define the FBE coating acceptance package
Request the proposed FBE system and its application scope, surface preparation, thickness, curing and inspection criteria. Agree handling and repair requirements where relevant to the project. The Smooth table entry does not confirm a complete FBE coating specification or its conformity.
Describe the conveyed fluid, contaminants, temperature, pressure, cycles and external installation conditions. Review the selected coating and carbon steel material against that environment. Long-distance pipeline and corrosion-resistant wording do not establish a universal protection level or qualification for every buried or exposed installation.
Review operating and material requirements
Low Pressure and Not Rated appear in the table without an allowable numerical envelope. Heavy-wall wording does not resolve that gap. Obtain the actual material grade, production and inspection records, then assess the elbow and joints against the project requirements. Confirm marking, preservation, quantity, OEM scope, delivery and the terms of the three-year warranty.
