This carbon-steel butt-weld tee enquiry includes WPB under ASTM A234 and a seamless construction requirement. The TEE options and run-and-branch photograph establish the product family. The selected fitting still needs a dimensional and material package that links those requirements to its actual three ends and documented production route.
Describe all three ends of the equal tee
Label both run openings and the branch on one drawing. Confirm their nominal sizes, measured outside diameters and actual walls for the equal requirement, then show branch orientation and centre-to-end distances. Explain what the millimetre labels measure and match the weld preparation at each opening to its adjoining pipe. No wall schedule or dimensional standard number is supplied, so agree dimensions, tolerances and inspection requirements explicitly. Check the branch position against nearby supports and leave access for all three welds.
Request WPB and seamless-construction evidence together
Select Carbon Steel for the WPB requirement and obtain the complete ASTM A234 specification, edition and traceable grade records. Stainless Steel and Alloy alternatives require their own exact assignments. Request production records demonstrating the required seamless construction and explaining the selected forming route. The Seamless title and Forged table entry do not by themselves verify how that tee was made. Surface appearance and the photographed marking cannot establish the same material or route for every option.
Qualify the coated tee in its intended service
Define coating preparation, coverage and weld-end condition beyond Painting. Supply mating-pipe specifications, fluid, pressure, temperature and corrosion conditions with the joining and inspection procedure. Pipe Class 150 alone does not establish allowable duty, and Customized Size does not prove arbitrary dimensional capability or availability. Acceptance should join the selected equal-end drawing and measured walls to material, construction and inspection evidence for the complete three-ended connection.
