This SCH80 carbon steel long-radius butt-weld elbow listing includes XS wording for an oil-piping enquiry. Its actual variant provides a half-inch-to12-inch range. Specify the individual size and actual wall before treating those title references as an accepted component specification.

Allocate XS and SCH80 to the selected pipe size

Request actual outside diameter, wall thickness, bore and tolerances for the chosen nominal size. Confirm how the XS and SCH80 references apply; the listing does not establish universal equivalence or numerical pressure duty. Match both elbow ends to the actual pipe wall and joining requirements.

Agree the required angle, centerline radius and center-to-end dimensions on a drawing. The title supplies long-radius wording but no angle. No exact dimensional standard, WPB grade or seamless process is recorded, so obtain the actual governing specification without importing those claims from another product.

Confirm the butt-weld ends and carbon steel records

Butt Welded/BW wording and Welding connectivity appear beside an NPT table entry. Resolve actual end preparation and mating interfaces rather than assuming a hybrid. Clarify Hexagon and obtain full carbon steel grade, condition, traceability, material certificates and manufacturing evidence for the forged table description.

Overall Length, Height and Mounting hole diameter repeat the shared range rather than measured geometry. Allocate individual dimensions through the drawing and confirm size/wall availability. Define smooth-surface inspection and actual protective treatment, if required; corrosion-resistant wording does not certify oil compatibility.

Approve oil service for the completed piping

Low Pressure and Not Rated leave numerical limits unconfirmed. State the actual medium, pressure, temperature, cycling, loads and corrosion allowance. Obtain complete system acceptance, then agree joining procedure, alignment, inspection, marking, required material/process/dimensional records and quotation scope.
