This steel pipe listing addresses chemical industry applications with ASTM A312, TP304, TP316L and seamless references. The table includes Non-Alloy, generic stainless steel and ERW. Confirm one actual supplied grade, manufacturing route and selected size before assessing the pipe against a chemical-process requirement.
Select the supplied grade and A312 product scope
The variants define thickness and length rather than separate TP304 and TP316L choices. Request the ordered specification, grade, condition, traceability and material inspection records. Resolve the classifications through documentation, and establish seamless or ERW construction with manufacturing evidence. Do not assume the title grades have interchangeable compatibility or properties.
Identify the ASTM A312 edition, product coverage and conformity package for the order. The original photograph shows bundled round pipes with covered ends; it cannot verify grade, route or chemical resistance. General API and ISO 9001 labels do not establish approval for the actual process medium or installation.
Reconcile nominal sizes with the process drawing
The title gives a half-inch to 12-inch range, while the table lists 219–1066 mm outside diameters. Clarify the nominal and measured-diameter basis before ordering. Select actual outside diameter, bore, wall and length from the process drawing rather than treating both ranges as equivalent representations.
The available thickness is expressed as 6–20 mm, paired with 12 m or 6 m lengths. Set straightness, roundness, ends and mating-joint requirements, and define the dimension covered by ±1%. Confirm actual Cold Rolled finish, Non-oiled supply, any required cleaning and preservation appropriate to the selected process.
Agree chemical duty and traceable compatibility evidence
Provide medium composition, contaminants, pressure, temperature, cycles, environment and connection details. Review the documented material condition, route and geometry against those inputs. Agree material, dimensional, surface, end and required compatibility or project tests with criteria and reports. The listing establishes no corrosion guarantee, numerical pressure rating or service-life claim for the selected chemical duty.
