This industrial exhaust listing references A234 WPB carbon steel, Equal and Painting. The original image shows tee-shaped fittings, while the selectable types are labeled Reducer. Confirm the actual fitting proposed for the order and its drawing before agreeing the component dimensions and acceptance package.
Identify the fitting and exhaust branch layout
Ask the supplier to link the proposed tee to the selected option and approved drawing. The image supports a general tee form, not a verified variant, material grade or dimensions. Provide run and branch sizes, outside diameters, wall requirements and center-to-end dimensions for the exhaust layout.
Equal wording does not supply actual measurements. The 1/2–110 inch range, Customized Size and Metric entries require agreed dimensions and units rather than assumptions about the ordered fitting. Clarify Hexagon wording and obtain the actual welding end preparation and inspection requirements.
Request WPB and painted-surface records
Confirm the material specification and edition, supplied grade, condition and traceability supporting A234 WPB. Carbon Steel and a234wpb labels are not actual certificates. Agree production inspections supporting FORGED and the material and dimensional evidence required by the purchase specification.
Specify paint chemistry, covered surfaces, relevant thickness and acceptance criteria. Painting and the pictured dark surface do not verify the supplied treatment or coating performance. Tie material, end and paint inspections to the same approved drawing and documentation package for the selected fitting.
Define the exhaust operating environment
Describe exhaust composition, particulates, condensate, temperature, pressure, thermal cycles, transients and loads. High Pressure and Other class provide no numerical allowable envelope. Review the actual fitting and joint under the exhaust-system requirements, then confirm inspections, marking, preservation, availability and delivery, with OEM and warranty terms agreed separately.
