This carbon-steel elbow enquiry retains the requested 45-degree turn, SCH10 wall schedule, black-painted finish and Grade B under ASTM A106. Each requirement needs to match one actual offered configuration. The generic Elbow variants and curved photographs establish the family, while dimensions, material and finished-item acceptance require selected records.
Confirm the 45-degree configuration and schedule wall
Specify the angle, centreline radius, centre-to-end dimensions and installation envelope on a drawing. Explain the millimetre option labels and identify nominal size, outside diameter and wall at both ends. Link SCH10 to the chosen size and applicable dimensional record instead of treating it as one fixed thickness. If reducing geometry is required, show both sizes and the transition. State the actual connection and end preparation; Female/Male and the mounting-hole field cannot define the joint. Photographic markings do not establish the requested angle or wall for every option.
Separate material evidence from finished-elbow acceptance
Choose carbon steel and request traceable material documentation for the specified Grade B requirement. A stainless-steel alternative needs a separate grade and specification. Clarify which records cover the starting material and which cover the completed elbow's manufacture, dimensions and inspection. A material reference alone does not establish full fitting conformity. Resolve the Casting description against the selected production requirements without deriving a route from surface colour or shape.
Define black coating and operating acceptance
Agree coating type, surface preparation, coverage and required condition around joining areas. Black Painted or Painting does not by itself qualify protective performance. Provide mating-pipe specifications and actual fluid, pressure, temperature and corrosion conditions, together with the joining and inspection plan. Pipe Class 125 is not a quantified allowable-duty limit. Acceptance should link one end-pair and angle drawing to material, finished-elbow production, coating and complete-joint records.
