This carbon steel long-radius butt-weld elbow is listed for oil and gas pipeline enquiries with a B16.9 reference. The available size option is a half-inch to 12-inch range. Choose the actual nominal size and confirm the drawing before requesting a project quotation.
Specify the individual elbow geometry within the range
Identify the required angle, radius, wall thickness or schedule and dimensional tolerances. Long-radius wording does not provide a complete bend drawing, and no angle is selected in the record. State the nominal sizing convention and the matching pipe dimensions for the ordered component.
The table repeats the size range under length, height and hole diameter. Request the actual corresponding dimensions rather than treating those entries as a finished dimensional schedule. Clarify the role of the Hexagon head code separately from the flow geometry.
Confirm the manufacturing and butt-weld interface package
Obtain the selected material grade, condition and traceability, plus evidence for the forged and seamless supply wording. Specify the governing B16.9 document and edition with the actual conformity scope. The title identifies a reference, not completed certification of every size or manufacturing detail.
Resolve the butt-weld title and NPT table entry through an end-specific schedule. Confirm preparation, any applicable thread designation, mating interfaces and examination. Define measurable acceptance for the smooth finish and the associated surface inspection and delivery protection.
Set the oil or gas operating and corrosion criteria
Describe the actual oil or gas composition, pressure and temperature limits, cycling and mechanical loads. The Low Pressure and Not Rated entries leave this elbow without numerical duty evidence. Assess corrosion resistance against the selected medium and exposure rather than a general label. Agree the material, dimensional, joint and testing records needed for the intended system.
