This industrial bolt enquiry concerns an M16 T-bolt requirement with carbon steel, property class and length conditions to be confirmed for the selected part. Identify the actual head arrangement and mating joint first. A T-bolt request needs an engagement geometry that can be checked against the intended slot or connection, alongside the complete thread specification.
Start with the T-head engagement drawing
Show the slot or joint that the head must engage, including the opening, bearing surfaces and installation access. Request the selected fastener's head profile and dimensions so that fit can be evaluated directly. Confirm whether the required component is a T-head or a hex-head configuration. A general image of hex nuts and threaded fasteners does not establish the head interface needed by the project.
Specify the M16 thread and required length
State the complete thread designation, pitch and tolerance, then match those requirements to the nut or mating component. If the enquiry calls for 100mm or 150mm, identify the required length explicitly and define its measurement datum and threaded portion. Do not use a different diameter or length label as a substitute without confirmation. Keep the head, thread and length dimensions together on one selected-fastener drawing.
Select one material, class and finish scope
Name the exact Carbon Steel specification and whether the project requires property class 10.9 or 12.9. Define the required plain or galvanized finish separately, and ask for the documentation applicable to the selected configuration. Clarify any included nuts and their matching specification. The property-class designation alone does not determine the suitability of the complete joint. Review the head engagement, thread, length and material scope against the joint design before accepting the fastener for the intended connection.
