This grade 8.8 DIN931/DIN933 hex-head nut-and-bolt enquiry needs an approved fastener drawing and selected material documentation. The sole variant carries Hex Flange Bolts, 6 mm and M1.6 labels. Confirm the actual supplied dimensions and thread before ordering.
Resolve the thread and under-head length
M1.6 and the separate UNC reference require confirmation of the actual thread system. Specify diameter, pitch or threads per inch, tolerance, hand and matching nut designation. Do not convert metric and UNC labels into one assumed interface.
The 6 mm option and separate length range need a selected under-head measurement and agreed convention. Confirm grip, threaded length, end form and installation clearance on the drawing. A broad length range does not establish additional available variants or the supplied length.
Head configuration, material and property class
Confirm the selected head and bearing-face dimensions rather than assigning a flange or heavy hex configuration from photographs. Grade 8.8, the other class references and ASTM A325/A490 terminology do not establish equivalent mechanical requirements or simultaneous conformity.
Obtain the exact material specification, property-class requirements and matching inspection certificate. Stainless, carbon steel and generic steel references do not identify one actual alloy. Blue and dark finishes cannot establish composition. Plain, colour and customization wording need a defined surface treatment and inspection criteria where a coating is required.
Matched nuts and joint acceptance
Confirm whether two compatible nuts are supplied per bolt, their grade and the complete ordered set. The count and gallery do not establish included washers or a qualified structural assembly. Determine joint loading, grip, exposure, temperature and installation requirements before assigning torque or capacity. Provide the actual head/thread/length drawing, material and property-class documents, matched nut requirements and finish specification. Request dimensional and mechanical acceptance records for the selected standard and joint.
