This carbon steel tee listing addresses chemical and water piping with reducing, ASME B16.9 and Schedule 40 references. The table identifies Equal, and the variants use Reducer labels. Confirm the actual selected tee geometry and option mapping before treating the listing as a verified reducing branch fitting.
Resolve the reducing and equal branch descriptions
Obtain an approved drawing showing actual run and branch diameters, bore, wall, angle and centre-to-end dimensions. The original photograph shows two three-opening fittings with different branch proportions, which do not identify one selected configuration. Resolve the reducing title against Equal table wording using actual supplied dimensions.
Map the Reducer-labelled variants to the ordered tee and confirm overall length, height and tolerances. The half-inch to 110-inch choice is a range, not actual run and branch sizes. Do not infer a reduction ratio, flow performance or dimensional fit from the photograph or the generic option name.
Specify Schedule 40, welded ends and supplied material
Schedule 40 requires the selected nominal size and applicable specification before assigning an actual wall. Identify the ASME B16.9 edition, product coverage and dimensional conformity requirements. Confirm Welding ends, bevels and mating pipes. Hexagon and customized mounting-hole or thread fields do not establish a flange or threaded connection.
The material choices are Carbon Steel and a234wpb. Request the actual specification, grade, condition, traceability and inspection package. Verify production against FORGED and confirm actual Painting finish, preparation, coverage and preservation. Metallic appearance and printed markings do not certify material or a supplied coating system.
Agree chemical or water duty and branch acceptance
Define the actual medium separately, including composition, contaminants, pressure, temperature, cycles, loads, exposure and joints. High Pressure and Other class entries supply no numerical allowable limit. Review the documented material and geometry against the system. Agree material, dimensional, wall, branch, end, surface and required project tests with criteria and traceable reports before approval.
