This carbon steel welded tee listing targets refinery oil and gas piping with a BS EN 10253-2 reference. The selectable type is labeled Reducer, while the title identifies a tee and Equal shape. Confirm the selected component and its approved run-to-branch drawing before accepting the listed geometry.
Resolve equal wording against the actual branch drawing
The original image supports tee forms but includes branch openings that appear smaller than the run. Appearance does not establish measured dimensions or a reduction ratio. Request actual run and branch nominal sizes, diameters, bore, wall and center-to-end dimensions rather than assigning the Equal configuration from wording alone.
Define welding end preparation, mating-pipe details, tolerances and explicit units for the approved assembly. Confirm how the drawing maps to the selected option. Hexagon, Customized Size and Metric entries do not provide the missing values or establish the dimensions of an ordered fitting within the broad range.
Verify BS EN scope and production evidence
Identify the applicable BS EN 10253-2 edition, component and material coverage, with the acceptance requirements for the project. Request actual conformity records, supplied grade, condition and traceability. Carbon Steel and a234wpb labels do not provide a certificate or demonstrate that the selected fitting satisfies the required specification.
Obtain manufacturing evidence supporting Forged and clarify Welded connection versus component construction. Specify Painting treatment, covered surfaces, surface acceptance and coating inspections separately. The image cannot establish alloy, production route or protective performance, so use the actual material and inspection package as the basis for acceptance.
Define refinery oil and gas process conditions
State composition, contaminants, pressure, temperature, cycles, transients and external loads. High Pressure and Other class supply no numerical allowable limits. Evaluate the confirmed material, branch geometry, joint and surface package against the actual refinery duty, then agree end inspections, documentation, marking, preservation and delivery before release.
