This Grade B A53 ERW steel pipe is listed for building enquiries with schedule references from SCH10 through SCH80. The table identifies round carbon steel with a cold-rolled surface. Select the actual section and intended structural role before using the title as a complete building specification.
Match a named schedule to the selected pipe size
SCH10, SCH20, SCH30, SCH40, SCH60 and SCH80 appear in the title without separate schedule variants. Confirm one required schedule against the nominal size, dimensional reference and actual wall thickness. The list does not demonstrate continuous availability or supply a pressure rating for the proposed section.
Outside diameter is recorded as 219–1066 mm, while the selection entries give 6–20 mm thickness with either 12 m or 6 m length. Specify a complete diameter, wall and length combination. Ask for a drawing and acceptance criteria instead of assuming the broad ranges correspond to every named schedule.
Verify the material, weld and dimensional records
Request the applicable A53 edition, full Grade B supply condition and selected scope, with traceable chemistry and property reports. ERW is explicitly recorded, but the relevant manufacturing and weld inspections still need evidence. Do not replace the source standard or infer seamless manufacture from another listing.
Define the controlled measurement for ±1% and the required end, straightness and dimensional checks. Confirm the cold-rolled, non-oiled finish and any additional corrosion protection needed by the project. API and ISO 9001 labels require actual certificates with applicable scope and validity.
Establish the building application acceptance
Describe the structural function, loading, geometry, restraints, joints and exposure for project assessment of the selected section. The building label provides no load capacity or design approval. EMT wording likewise does not establish conduit qualification; obtain the specific documentation required for the intended use.
