This carbon steel elbow enquiry concerns welded construction connections and pressure or corrosion requirements. Three actual selections pair diameter labels of 22 mm, 25 mm or 32 mm with a thickness of 3 mm. Confirm full bend geometry and material before assessing the joint for service.
Turn the diameter and thickness pair into a bend drawing
Establish whether the stated diameter is nominal or outside diameter. Define both end bores, wall tolerances, bend angle, radius, center-to-end dimensions and orientation. Equal construction needs accepted dimensions at both ends; the metric pair alone does not establish a complete elbow.
The 1/4-inch to 4-inch length and height ranges do not specify measured geometry for each selection. Confirm whether the 22–42 mm mounting-hole entry applies to the ordered part. It does not create additional available variants. Photographs support form comparison without certifying dimensions, grade or manufacture.
Accept the casting, welded ends and black-paint system
Carbon Steel is the actual material choice; stainless wording does not provide another selectable material. Request the exact specification, grade and traceable certificate, plus manufacturing and inspection records supporting the casting requirement.
Agree end preparation, pipe-wall matching, welding procedure and inspection acceptance. No thread form is specified. Hexagon wording does not define the whole elbow shape. For black paint, accept preparation, coating chemistry, thickness and exposure suitability rather than treating color as performance evidence.
Require documented pressure capacity and compatibility
High-pressure and corrosion-resistance requirements need a governing rating basis and supporting material, joint and coating evidence. No certified pressure-temperature envelope is supplied. Assess medium composition, operating temperature, pressure cycles and exposure conditions for the complete welded connection.
Send the selected diameter/thickness pair, accepted bend drawing, grade certificate, casting and welding requirements, paint specification, inspection criteria and full duty. Corrosion resistance must be assessed for the intended environment rather than assumed for every fluid or installation.
