This custom equal tee listing targets marine pipeline projects and names duplex steel 2205 with CNC machining. The material options instead identify Carbon Steel and a234wpb, and the type is labeled Reducer. Verify the supplied alloy and machining scope
Request the actual material grade, condition, traceability and inspection documentation before specifying duplex steel. Neither the title nor the dark surface in the image establishes the supplied alloy. Resolve the material selection for the exact component and its intended internal and external exposure conditions.
Identify which features require CNC machining on the approved custom drawing. Agree drawing revision, dimensions, tolerances and inspection criteria for those features. The machining reference and Forged table entry do not document the complete production route; obtain the relevant manufacturing and acceptance records for the order.
Define equal-tee dimensions and surface condition
Confirm run and branch sizes, bore, outside diameters, wall requirements, center-to-end dimensions and welding ends. Customized Size, Metric and Hexagon entries provide no numerical measurements or finished tolerances.
The surface entry is Plain. Clarify the actual supplied surface condition, inspection acceptance, preservation and handling requirements rather than assuming a protective coating. Define any project-specific protection separately, using the confirmed material and exposure requirements to assess the appropriate package for the selected fitting.
Specify the actual marine pipeline exposure
Distinguish the internal process fluid from external marine atmosphere or any requested seawater duty. State composition, contaminants, temperature, pressure, cycles, transients and loads. High Pressure and Other class leave numerical limits unspecified. Evaluate material and joint acceptance, then agree machined-feature and end inspections, documentation, marking and delivery.
