Actual variants are named Reducer, so confirm the order configuration rather than relying solely on the product heading.
Identify the size and specification for the actual tee
Request a selected drawing showing run and branch nominal sizes, opening dimensions, wall requirements and center-to-end geometry. Verify the equal configuration and weld-end preparation. The half-inch title reference and broad half-inch to 110-inch option do not identify a separately confirmed size for every possible order.
The title says ANSI without providing a numbered standard or edition. Ask the supplier to name the dimensional and manufacturing specifications applicable to the offered fitting, with tolerances and inspection criteria. A standard used for a neighbouring product should not be assumed to govern this item.
Confirm manufacturing and the chosen material label
The options distinguish Carbon Steel from a234wpb. Obtain the intended grade designation, material condition and traceability documents for the selection. The generic carbon steel choice does not establish the same documented grade or conformity as the more specific label.
Seamless and forged descriptions require confirmation of the actual manufacturing route and corresponding inspection evidence. The image shows fittings of different apparent sizes and surfaces, without proving production method, measured wall thickness or painted delivery condition. Agree any required coating preparation, materials, thickness and inspection separately.
Specify the duty and purchase acceptance requirements
State the medium, operating pressure, temperature, cycling and mechanical loads for assessment of the actual fitting and joint. High Pressure supplies no numerical allowable limit. Resolve generic Hexagon, mounting and thread entries against the drawing, then agree welding, testing, surface condition and project acceptance documents before purchase.
