This pipe fitting enquiry presents DIN2615 304/316L seamless butt-welded straight equal cross or tee requirements. Confirm the actual selected fitting type and number of branches before ordering. A complete drawing must identify every opening and the geometry that will be supplied.
Choose the topology and label every end
A tee, cross and elbow need different drawings. For a branching request, specify run and branch nominal sizes, outside diameters, all end walls, centre-to-end dimensions, orientation and tolerances. Equal requires accepted same-size geometry. An elbow selection needs its own bend dimensions.
Options of 10, 12, 14, 50 and 30 mm do not define all openings. Mounting-hole diameter 0.26 in is not bore. Customized Size requires approved dimensions and inspection criteria. Dark three-opening gallery examples cannot establish selected four-opening delivery, equal bores or grade.
Confirm DIN scope and the selected certified grade
Request the exact DIN2615 designation and edition, selected dimensional scope, inspection records and supplied identification. The title alone does not certify a cross configuration. 304 and 316L are separate grade requests requiring an exact product material specification, heat-traceable certificate and matching marking.
Stainless Steel, Alloy and Carbon Steel choices need distinct qualification. Seamless and Forged require actual production and inspection evidence; the labels neither establish the selected route nor prove incompatible methods. Butt-welded supply needs selected preparation, matching walls and joining/inspection acceptance.
Agree coating and the complete branching duty
Painting needs a specified coating, application extent, surface preparation and weld-area treatment. Colour does not qualify coating acceptance or medium compatibility. Pipe Class 150 alone provides no numerical working pressure. Assess actual material, walls and joined assembly against medium, pressure, temperature and governing design conditions. Enquire with selected topology, complete drawing, certificate, DIN scope, manufacturing records, weld/coating criteria and full duty.
