This power generation boiler listing describes a painted forged steel tee with Class 3000 and socket weld references. Its original image supports a tee form, while the selectable types are marked Reducer. Confirm the actual component, class basis and end drawing before approving the boiler connection.
Confirm class and socket configuration
Identify the component specification, edition and actual size/class requirements for the proposed tee. Class 3000 wording does not provide a supplied allowable pressure-temperature rating. Confirm its applicability with the selected drawing and material evidence rather than using the title as a completed service assessment.
Define actual socket bore, depth, pipe fit and end geometry, with the welding and inspection requirements needed by the project. The image does not verify socket construction. No universal gap or installation procedure is supplied for the broad 1/2–110 inch option range.
Approve branch dimensions and supplied records
Provide run and branch sizes, outside diameters, wall requirements and center-to-end dimensions. Equal and Customized Size entries do not supply these measurements. Agree drawing units and tolerances, clarify Hexagon wording and confirm how the approved tee relates to the selected order option.
Request material grade, condition and traceability records for the Carbon Steel or a234wpb labels, together with production inspections supporting FORGED. Specify paint chemistry, covered surfaces, thickness and acceptance criteria. Painting and the pictured dark surface do not verify the actual supplied treatment or coating performance.
Describe boiler operating and inspection requirements
Provide the fluid or steam conditions, contaminants, pressure, temperature, thermal cycles, transients and loads. High Pressure and Other class leave numerical allowable limits unestablished. Assess the actual tee and joint under the boiler requirements, then confirm material, socket, dimensional and paint inspections, documentation, marking, preservation and delivery for the approved connection.
