This natural gas pipeline listing describes a painted carbon steel tee with butt-weld connections. Tee wording, the Equal table entry and the original product image support that enquiry category. Both selectable variants are labelled Reducer, however, so a confirmed drawing is needed to establish the fitting actually offered.
Confirm the branch geometry before specifying the order
Ask the supplier to identify the run and branch openings and reconcile the variant type. Specify their nominal sizes, bores, wall requirements and center-to-end dimensions. The image shows a three-opening tee, but cannot establish measured equality, wall thickness or the selected production dimensions.
The option uses a broad half-inch to 110-inch size description. Obtain confirmation of the particular offered size, manufacturing tolerances and weld-end preparation. Check the generic Hexagon, mounting-hole and thread fields against the actual welded geometry instead of treating them as a complete technical drawing.
Separate the listed standard and material references
API 5L, B16.9 and A234 WPB appear together in the title. Request the applicable editions and an explanation of each reference for the supplied fitting, supported by the relevant material, dimensional and inspection documents. Their presence in a product title does not demonstrate certification or establish interchangeable specifications.
Choose between the Carbon Steel and a234wpb labels with an agreed grade, condition and traceability package. Confirm the forging claim for the actual item. Painting also needs defined preparation, coating materials, thickness, curing and inspection where environmental protection forms part of the purchase requirement.
Evaluate the selected tee for natural gas duty
Provide gas composition, water and other contaminants, operating and design pressure, temperature and cycling conditions. Include piping loads and project-specific testing criteria. The High Pressure label does not state capacity or establish sour-service, hydrogen or low-temperature qualification; agree the selected fitting assessment and acceptance evidence before installation.
