Confirm units for thickness and outside diameter
The available lengths are 12 m, 6 m and 6.4 m. Thickness 1.2 has no stated unit, and the table outer-diameter range 150–350 also lacks a unit and individual allocation. Request actual outside diameter, bore, wall thickness and dimensional units rather than assuming millimetres.
Allocate the listed ±15% tolerance to its intended property and agree acceptance limits for length, wall, roundness and straightness. Obtain the complete steel designation, manufacturing route, condition, heat traceability and applicable ASTM document. Generic ASTM or API/EMT labels do not identify a certified specification.
Define both seals and the finished epoxy system
Request socket geometry, insertion depth, engagement, seal dimensions/material, assembly method and joint inspection requirements. Agree compatibility with the transported medium. A double-seal description alone does not establish pressure performance, allowable movement or an approved installation procedure.
Confirm fusion-bonded epoxy construction, internal/external coverage, surface preparation, coating thickness, cure and inspection. Reconcile Hot Rolled and Slightly Oiled entries with the finished coating and end-surface requirements. Surface appearance or corrosion-resistant wording cannot replace documented coating acceptance.
Approve the selected water-supply duty
State actual medium, pressure, temperature, cycling, exposure and loads; request potable-water approval if relevant. Other listed industrial applications need separate assessment. Verify the scope and validity of CE/ISO 9001 references, then agree joint testing, handling, marking, material/coating records and quotation scope.
