This power and boiler piping enquiry describes a carbon steel equal tee with SCH60–SCH120 and butt-weld wording. The product image shows branch fittings, but the selectable type says Reducer. Confirm the ordered configuration against a drawing before using the listing to define a branch connection.
Resolve the type and scheduled dimensions
Ask the supplier to reconcile the tee title with the Reducer option. Specify the run and branch sizes, center-to-end dimensions, wall thicknesses and end preparation. The image supports a tee family but cannot verify equal bores, a schedule designation or measured fitting dimensions.
The option range spans 1/2–110 inches, while SCH60–SCH120 appears in the title rather than as separate selectable schedules. Confirm the exact size and wall combination, bore requirements and availability. Customized size fields and the generic Hexagon or thread entries do not replace the approved tee drawing.
Review material and boiler service evidence
Confirm the applicable editions and scope of ASME B16.9 and ASTM A234 WPB for the selected supply. Obtain material records, manufacturing information and required inspection or heat-treatment documentation. The generic Carbon Steel and a234wpb options are source labels, not proof of the actual material conformity.
Provide the power or boiler system fluid, pressure, temperature, cycling and loads. High Pressure wording supplies no allowable numerical envelope or boiler approval. Review the selected fitting wall and joints against the project requirements, including any relevant inspection and acceptance criteria.
Agree coating and order acceptance
Define the painting system, preparation and required protection for the actual environment; Painting alone does not establish temperature capability or corrosion performance. Confirm the supplied configuration, marking, traceability, quantity and delivery timing. Clarify OEM requirements and the listed one-year warranty terms as part of the purchase agreement.
