This DN300 carbon steel blind flange enquiry references ASME B16.5, ASTM A105 and Class 150. Begin with an approved closure drawing and the accepted supplied material. The requested blind component must be defined as part of the complete bolted joint before its dimensions or duty can be accepted.

Define the DN300 closure construction

Specify the required closed-face configuration, thickness, outside diameter, facing and drilling. Ask for the bolt circle, hole count, hole diameters and tolerances together with the mating-flange details. A generic Flange choice and size None do not select the requested DN300 blind configuration.

The repeated inch ranges for length, height and mounting-hole diameter cannot replace that drawing. Confirm which closure and any separate backing or support components are included in the quotation. Where an NPT or BSPT feature is requested, identify its component and function explicitly rather than assuming it belongs to a blind closure.

Accept the material and Class 150 basis

Agree the delivered material specification, product form and condition with traceable inspection evidence. Polypropylene or PP choices need their own material designation and component scope; A105 naming alone cannot certify that construction. Establish the applicable B16.5 edition and the accepted type, size and material scope.

Class 150 requires the relevant material and temperature basis. Low-pressure wording does not supply a numerical operating limit. Define polishing and the production route as agreed requirements, without treating appearance or manufacturing labels as proof of corrosion resistance or service capability.

Review the assembled closure for service

Provide the actual fluid, pressure, temperature, cycling and mechanical loads for the intended water, drainage, fire-protection, natural-gas or petroleum project. Assess the closure, mating flange, gasket, fasteners and support together with assembly requirements. Include PPF-PH in the enquiry and confirm any customization scope and three-year warranty terms with the quotation.
