This 90-degree elbow enquiry is led by polished forged stainless steel 304 and low-pressure piping requirements. Select the actual material and supplied connection before ordering. The sixteen actual variants combine four metric sizes with Stainless Steel, Zinc, Iron or Carbon Steel; 304 does not describe every option.
Select the stainless option and dimensional basis
Choose the required material and 10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm or 50 mm designation. Clarify whether that size denotes nominal size, tube outside diameter or another dimension. Request selected angle, centreline radius, end diameters, walls, centre-to-end dimensions and tolerances on an accepted drawing.
The inch range under length, height and mounting-hole labels is not the selected metric geometry. Equal requires matching end dimensions. Dark curved examples and the separate metallic bend photograph cannot certify stainless grade, zinc composition, manufacturing route or pressure performance.
Specify the supplied ends and finish acceptance
Obtain an explicit end specification. A welded selection needs preparation, matching pipe wall and joining inspection. A threaded selection needs one exact NPT or BSPT form with nominal size, gender, engagement, gauging and sealing acceptance. These alternatives should not be treated as interchangeable; confirm the actual delivered configuration.
For a stainless 304 request, obtain the selected material specification, exact grade, heat-traceable certificate and matching identification. Forged requires actual production records. Polishing needs selected surface extent and finish acceptance, rather than an assumed measured roughness or hygienic certification. Confirm compatibility with the intended medium.
Establish project-specific low-pressure suitability
Low Pressure gives no numerical operating limit. The class label needs its governing standard, material and temperature basis; it does not mean a universal 150-psi rating. Drainage, fire-protection, natural-gas and petroleum names provide no independent approvals. Assess actual medium composition, temperature, pressure, cycles and complete joint. Enquire with selected material/size, grade certificate, end drawing, manufacturing/finish acceptance and documented duty.
