This SCH40 DN50 carbon-steel enquiry requests an A234 WPB reducing tee with ASME B16.9, butt-weld and seamless requirements. The actual types include TEE and Elbow. Select TEE and resolve the Reducing title against the Equal specification entry before accepting a branch-to-run size relationship or selected three-end dimensions.
Resolve reduction and assign every run and branch end
Request run and branch nominal sizes, outside diameters, actual walls, branch centreline and centre-to-end dimensions. Clarify which end DN50 identifies and specify all remaining sizes. Explain the millimetre options; 50 mm does not automatically map to DN50. Resolve SCH40 for each selected end under the applicable dimensional system. The photographs show tee forms with apparently smaller branches but cannot qualify precise reduction or dimensions for all choices. Elbow selections need a separate angle and radius drawing.
Verify material, dimensions and seamless construction
Select Carbon Steel for the ASTM A234 WPB requirement and obtain complete specification, edition and traceable grade records. Stainless Steel and Alloy alternatives need separate assignments. Establish the applicable ASME B16.9 requirements and edition through selected dimensional inspection. Confirm Seamless and the Forged production entry through manufacturing records instead of assuming either is proven or inherently exclusive. The imported Elbow name, Hexagon and mounting-hole fields do not replace the selected tee drawing.
Coordinate all three welds and branch service
Match each butt-weld end to its adjoining pipe and agree preparation, alignment, joining procedure and inspection access. Define Painting through coating requirements and weld-zone condition. Supply fluid, pressure, temperature, corrosion and branch loads for complete-assembly assessment; Pipe Class 150 alone does not establish allowable duty. Confirm offered dimensions and availability beyond Customized Size before accepting the selected geometry, material, production and welded-joint evidence.
