This forged carbon steel slip-on flange is presented for pipeline enquiries with A694 F52/F65 and B16.5 title references. High Pressure is a source description rather than a stated operating limit. Select the actual material, dimensions and duty before accepting a pressure capability or conformity claim.
Identify the slip-on subset and required flange drawing
The 36 variants cover Alloy Steel, Aluminum, Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel. Each material has integral, weld neck, slip-on, socket-weld, lap-joint, threaded, blind, orifice and spectacle blind types within the half-inch to 120-inch range. The carbon slip-on focus does not describe every alternative.
The WN and BL title wording points to other flange types. Specify one type and nominal size, then request bore, hub, thickness, outside dimensions, face and mating pipe details. Assign the listed four half-inch bolt holes to that drawing; hole diameter is distinct from nominal pipe size.
Resolve the grade and conformity requirements before purchase
F52 and F65 appear together in the title without separate grade options. Choose one exact material designation and obtain the governing A694 and B16.5 documents, editions, applicable component scope, forging records, material certificates and traceability. Confirm selected availability instead of applying either designation to every material variant.
No numerical pressure class or face designation is supplied. Establish the required class, drilling pattern, bolt circle, tolerances and mating-face compatibility. Agree polished-finish criteria, joint preparation, sealing, bolting and examination requirements with the selected configuration.
Evaluate pipeline duty against documented operating limits
Provide operating pressure, temperature, medium composition, cycling and mechanical loads for rating review. Request the corresponding material, component and joint evidence; the broad application list does not approve all listed industries. Include drawing acceptance, inspection/testing and documentary requirements in the quotation request.
