Draw the transition between the two pipe ends
State both nominal sizes, outside diameters and wall thicknesses, and explain what the millimetre options measure. Request transition length, centreline alignment and weld preparation on a selected section drawing. The different photographed profiles cannot confirm concentric geometry for every choice. An Equal field does not define the required reducing size pair. Check the envelope and adjoining pipe alignment against the intended installation; the head-code and mounting-hole labels cannot replace measured transition and end dimensions.
Identify the full standard and material records
Select carbon steel and obtain the exact grade and material specification. Stainless-steel and Alloy alternatives require independent grade assignments. ASTM without a specification number does not establish a complete acceptance reference, so agree full material and dimensional standards and applicable editions. Request traceable production and inspection evidence before accepting Seamless or Forged wording as verified construction. Neither a dark surface nor a tapered shape can establish grade or manufacturing route.
Confirm surface and transition-joint acceptance
Define coating preparation, coverage and required weld-area condition rather than relying on Painting alone. Supply mating-pipe specifications, fluid, pressure, temperature and corrosion conditions and agree joining and inspection requirements for both interfaces. Pipe Class 150 does not establish allowable duty, while Customized Size does not confirm capability or availability for an arbitrary end pair. Acceptance should link one alignment and end-size drawing to matching material, standard, manufacturing and complete-joint records.
