Establish seamless or ERW construction from actual manufacturing documentation. Cold Rolled does not determine the initial route, supplied mechanical properties or suitability for a particular boiler component.
Identify the applicable ASME SA210 edition, product coverage and project acceptance requirements against the generic ASTM table entry. Obtain actual conformity records for the supply. API and ISO 9001 labels do not establish boiler or superheater approval, numerical strength or the permitted operating envelope for the ordered pipe.
Specify thermal-pipe dimensions and surface condition

Confirm selected wall and length with actual outside diameter, bore, straightness, roundness and end requirements.
