The 2-inch ASTM A234 WPB carbon steel welded equal tee enquiry requires a clear supplied-item drawing and manufacturing basis. Establish the fitting arrangement and what Welded means for the actual item before accepting the branch or pipe connection.
Separate body manufacture from welding installation
Welding identifies the listed connection, while a welded body, seam arrangement and accepted production route need separate evidence. FORGED wording does not independently prove or exclude a particular supplied body route. Request manufacturing and inspection records tied to the selected fitting.
Two viewed black tee references show a three-ended shape from different orientations. They help compare geometry without certifying dimensions, WPB or manufacturing method. Their appearance cannot replace an accepted supplied drawing.
Confirm the 2-inch equal branch selection
Two actual variants are Reducer with Carbon Steel or a234wpb across one 1/2"-110" range. Confirm the delivered subtype before accepting the requested equal tee. The range does not establish discrete stock sizes or a measured 2-inch configuration.
For equal tee supply, specify all three nominal sizes, diameters, bores, walls, orientation and center-to-end dimensions. For reducer supply, define both end sizes, length and transition arrangement separately. Customized Size and generic head-code labels cannot provide complete geometry. Check welding end preparation, fit-up and tolerances against the mating pipes.
Accept WPB and the installed duty envelope
Agree the governing dimensional document and material acceptance requirements. ASTM A234 WPB needs the selected specification, grade, product form, condition and traceable inspection evidence. Carbon Steel alone does not certify WPB, and Plain or Other labels cannot establish corrosion performance.
High Pressure provides no numerical pressure-temperature limit. Define actual medium composition, pressure, temperature, flow/branch duty, cycling and mechanical loads. Submit the identified subtype, exact end/assembly drawing, material/manufacturing records and joining requirements together for technical acceptance of the installed conditions.
