This stainless-steel flange enquiry lists WP316L/304L material references together with several construction and facing labels. The Flange options and necked open-bore photograph support the general family. Choose one actual configuration and its material package before treating those labels as a specification for the selected component.
Select one flange construction and mating-face arrangement
Identify the intended WN, BL, SO or SF construction and FF, RF, MF or FMF facing on a drawing, confirming the supplier's meaning for each selected label. These references do not describe one combined flange. The photograph cannot establish every listed type or sealing face. Define the pipe attachment appropriate to the chosen construction; for a welded end, record its geometry and relationship to the adjoining pipe wall. Check installation clearance and joining/inspection access.
Complete the dimensions before choosing gasket and bolting
Explain the millimetre size labels and specify nominal size, actual bore, outside diameter, thickness, bolt circle, hole count and diameter. Match the full drilling and face geometry to the mating flange. The isolated mounting-hole field does not define a drilling pattern, and Smooth is not a measured gasket-contact finish. Agree gasket, bolting, assembly and inspection requirements against the selected face and dimensional standard, including its edition and acceptance tolerances.
Resolve material nomenclature and documented service acceptance
Select Stainless Steel for the title requirement and request the exact material specification and grade for the actual product form, resolving the WP316L/304L references through traceable records. Alloy and Carbon Steel alternatives need separate assignments. Verify Forged through production and inspection evidence. Pipe Class 600 alone does not establish allowable pressure at the intended temperature. Provide fluid, corrosion and installation conditions for complete-joint assessment. Customized Size does not prove arbitrary dimensional capability or availability. Acceptance should link the selected drawing, material and manufacturing records.
