This ERW carbon steel pipe enquiry covers petrochemical refineries and hydraulic equipment. Its title uses ASTM, API and High Pressure references without a numbered product specification, actual grade or operating limit. Define the selected service and supporting material requirements before technical acceptance.
Describe the refinery stream and operating conditions
Provide the actual fluid composition, concentration, contaminants, temperature and pressure. Include operating cycles, thermal changes, corrosion conditions and external loads relevant to the process line. Petrochemical wording does not establish compatibility with every chemical stream or qualification for sour fluids or hydrogen.
Identify the required joint configuration, inspection and project acceptance criteria. A hydraulic equipment proposal may need different bore dimensions, finish and cleanliness. Specify those needs separately rather than assuming the pipe is supplied as a finished hydraulic component.
Establish the standard and material evidence
Ask the supplier to identify the numbered ASTM or API specification, edition, selected grade and supply condition. Obtain chemistry, mechanical properties, traceability and ERW weld inspection records. The generic standard names do not demonstrate dual certification or permit a grade to be borrowed from another listing.
The table records cold-rolled processing and non-alloy carbon steel. Clarify the actual production sequence and acceptance basis. API and ISO 9001 certificate labels require documents showing applicable scope. Cold rolling also does not specify a protective coating for the intended environment.
Confirm dimensions and delivery acceptance
The variants combine a 6–20 mm thickness entry with 6 m or 12 m length, while outside diameter is listed as 219–1066 mm. Select one exact combination and clarify the ±1% tolerance basis, straightness, ovality and end requirements. High Pressure provides no numerical capacity. Agree tests, non-oiled preservation, storage, actual-weight invoicing and delivery confirmation for the chosen pipe.
