Verify the supplied alloy and machining scope
Request the actual material grade, condition, traceability and inspection documentation before specifying duplex steel. Specify the actual marine pipeline exposure
Distinguish the internal process fluid from external marine atmosphere or any requested seawater duty. State composition, contaminants, temperature, pressure, cycles, transients and loads. High Pressure and Other class leave numerical limits unspecified. Evaluate material and joint acceptance, then agree machined-feature and end inspections, documentation, marking and delivery.
