This A234 WPB carbon steel seamless buttweld tee enquiry needs a confirmed supplied fitting drawing before chemical or oil service assessment. Establish whether the selected item provides a branch or a transition, then define its material and manufacturing acceptance requirements.
Identify the delivered fitting arrangement
Two actual variants are Reducer with Carbon Steel or a234wpb across a shared 1/2"-110" range. Obtain the supplied subtype confirmation before accepting the requested tee arrangement. The broad range does not establish discrete available sizes.
Two viewed photos show stacked three-ended bodies and black tee references with different branch proportions. Their appearance helps compare shapes without proving selectable subtype, material grade or seamless manufacture. The quantity illustrated also cannot establish available stock.
Define every end and the production basis
For tee supply, confirm run/branch sizes, diameters, bores, walls, orientation and center-to-end dimensions, including equal geometry where required. For reducer supply, define both end sizes, length and transition arrangement separately. Customized dimensions require an accepted measured drawing.
Specify welding-end preparation, fit-up and tolerances for the mating pipes. Buttweld installation does not establish the body production route. Seamless and FORGED wording needs an agreed manufacturing/product-form basis and actual production/inspection records rather than assumptions about how the fitting was made.
Qualify WPB and the actual chemical or oil duty
A234 WPB requires the accepted material standard, grade, condition and traceable inspection evidence. Carbon Steel alone does not certify WPB. Agree the governing dimensional document and applicable compliance requirements. Plain and Other labels cannot establish coating chemistry, corrosion resistance or service approval.
High Pressure supplies no numerical operating limit. Provide actual fluid composition, concentration, contaminants, pressure, temperature, flow/branch duty, cycling and loads. Submit the supplied subtype, full multi-end drawing, material/manufacturing documents and joining requirements together for acceptance of the complete installed duty.
