This stainless-steel and carbon-steel flange enquiry includes Ring Type Joint and SORF references that require separate construction and sealing-face selection. Flange variants and the reviewed drilled-flange photographs establish the family. Confirm the actual face, mating seal and class basis before accepting a complete bolted joint.
Resolve ring-joint and SORF sealing requirements
Confirm the supplier's SORF designation and whether the slip-on/raised-face requirement is an alternative to the ring-joint reference. Select one construction and mating-face drawing rather than combining unlike sealing requirements. If ring-joint construction is confirmed, specify groove profile and dimensions, matching ring designation/material and mating groove requirements under the applicable standard. A raised-face choice needs separately agreed face dimensions, finish and gasket. The photographs do not establish ring-groove geometry or every offered subtype.
Coordinate pipe attachment and the full mating pattern
Define nominal pipe size, actual outside diameter, flange bore and thickness, hub or slip-on attachment details and inspection access. Explain the millimetre choices. Obtain drilling count, bolt-hole diameter and bolt circle; the single mounting-hole entry cannot define a pattern. Choose a numbered flange standard and edition for both mating flanges, seal and bolting. Reconcile the imported Elbow name against the selected flange drawing.
Verify material, class meaning and actual service
Select Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel or Alloy with an exact specification, grade and traceable records. Verify Forged through manufacturing and inspection evidence and define measurable sealing-surface requirements beyond Smooth. Clarify the standard, unit and technical basis of Pipe Class 1000; the bare label is not an allowable pressure value. Supply fluid, pressure, temperature, corrosion and mechanical loads for full-joint assessment. Confirm offered dimensions and availability beyond Customized Size before accepting selected construction, sealing and material/joint evidence.
