This A234 WPB carbon-steel butt-weld end-cap enquiry also offers stainless-steel and alloy alternatives. Select Carbon Steel for the A234 WPB requirement and qualify other materials separately. Cap variants and the sole domed-cap photograph support the family, while actual dimensions and metallurgy require a selected drawing and traceable records.
Assign the material before accepting the cap
Obtain the complete material specification, edition and traceable A234 WPB grade evidence for the carbon-steel selection. The title's Stainless Steel wording does not make that reference a stainless assignment. Define an exact stainless or alloy grade if choosing those alternatives. Verify Forged through production and inspection documentation. Neither the photograph nor the imported Elbow product-name entry establishes the selected cap's material, route or dimensions.
Define the mouth, wall and butt-weld preparation
Specify nominal pipe size, actual outside diameter, adjoining pipe wall and cap thickness, mouth dimensions, overall depth and crown or profile.
