Distinguish a closure from a pipe connection

A blind-flange request concerns the closure of a flanged opening, while a slip-on request needs a bore and pipe attachment arrangement. Confirm the exact flange form on a drawing so the enquiry does not treat those functions as interchangeable. Show the required facing, overall dimensions and bolt pattern for that form, and identify the opposing flange or equipment connection that the part must match.

Name the carbon steel grade for the duty

Carbon steel is a material family, so the required specification and grade should be stated explicitly for the forged flange.
