This ASME B16.9 WPB carbon-steel welded-tee enquiry includes a 72-inch title reference. Confirm actual delivered identity and size before planning the joint. Branched reference photographs support an enquiry, but cannot certify supply, material grade, production or numerical pressure capability.

Obtain a size-specific branch and run drawing

Establish requested-size availability and the actual run/branch relationship. Include each end diameter, branch angle, center-to-end lengths, wall/end thickness, preparation and tolerances. Interpret Equal and Hexagon wording against the supplied geometry rather than photographic proportions.

The two recorded selections use one 1/2-to-110-inch label with Carbon Steel or a234wpb wording. This does not prove continuous availability or confirmed 72-inch supply. Define nominal/measured conventions and their relationship to Metric table wording. Customized Size entries for length, height, mounting holes, features and thread types require individual specifications.

Assign manufacturing and attachment requirements clearly

Specify exact material designation, grade, condition and traceability for accepted WPB requirements. Identify the governing B16.9 document and edition. The material labels and reference markings do not constitute conformity certificates.

Explain the intended body-manufacturing route separately from Welding attachment. Welded and FORGED references need component-specific production and inspection evidence; they do not independently establish an accepted seam or incompatible stages. Define Plain surface condition and relevant inspection requirements without assuming protective performance.

Establish the operating and acceptance package

High Pressure and Carbon Steel under Pipe Class provide no numerical rating. State medium, pressure, temperature, cycling, loads and connected pipe conditions. Water/gas, shipbuilding, oil-field and offshore uses require applicable evidence. Agree manufacturing/material/dimensional and joint inspection, installation, marking/traceability, confirmed size availability, OEM deliverables and stated one-year warranty terms.
