This A182 SO RF black-painted carbon-steel Class 150 weld-flange enquiry needs a selected component specification and mating drawing. Define the required flange construction, sealing face and material before ordering. Type, standard and class references do not independently certify a complete supplied joint.
Select the flange material and size
Fifteen actual variants combine each 10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm, 50 mm and 30 mm label with Stainless Steel, Alloy or Carbon Steel. Choose one combination and define whether the size is nominal or measured. Customized dimensions require a drawing with accepted tolerances.
Request the material designation, edition, grade, product condition and inspection traceability. A182 naming does not establish documented compliance for every material alternative. Agree the relevant forged-production evidence and welding preparation for the selected construction.
Coordinate RF seating and bolt alignment
Define the SO and RF requirements explicitly. Specify bore, outside diameter, thickness, relevant hub dimensions, bolt circle, hole count and diameter, face dimensions and tolerances with the mating component. The 0.25-inch mounting-hole entry alone cannot establish a drilling pattern or nominal size.
Agree sealing-face finish and gasket compatibility instead of treating smooth wording as a numerical finish criterion. Reference images show black and red drilled rings; neither certifies delivered coating or type compliance. Define black-paint scope, preparation and appropriate sealing, bore or weld-surface exclusions without assuming corrosion performance.
Establish the joint operating basis
Class 150 needs its governing standard and selected material-temperature basis; it is not a standalone psi or bar value. Provide the actual medium, pressure, temperature, cycling and imposed loads. Confirm compatible bolting, installation and inspection requirements, customized drawing approval, requested OEM, ODM or OBM scope, and the stated one-year warranty terms in the quotation.
