This carbon steel welded tee listing targets water treatment plants and includes A105, ANSI B16.5 and Class 150 references. The original image supports tee forms, while the selectable type reads Reducer. Confirm the exact fitting and approved drawing before accepting a material package or standard-based configuration.

Clarify B16.5 and class applicability

Identify which actual component or mating interface the B16.5 reference is intended to cover. Do not automatically apply a flange-standard title reference to the tee body. Request the fitting specification, applicable edition, component scope and conformity records required by the water treatment project.

Class 150 does not directly state allowable working pressure across the operating temperature range. The High Pressure and Other class table entries also leave numerical limits unspecified. Confirm the actual rating basis with the selected material, component and joint requirements rather than treating the class wording as a pressure certificate.

Verify material and ordered tee geometry

Obtain supplied grade, condition, traceability and material inspection documentation. The A105 title and a234wpb option do not establish one certified material package. Request production evidence supporting Forged and clarify the Welded reference against the actual connection and component construction for the selected order.

Specify run and branch sizes, bore, diameters, wall, center-to-end and welding end dimensions with tolerances. Confirm Equal geometry and the selected option mapping. Hexagon, Customized Size and Metric entries provide no measured values. Define Painting coverage, surface acceptance and coating inspection requirements separately from the standard and material references.

Set water treatment service acceptance

Provide water composition, treatment chemicals, contaminants, pressure, temperature, cycles, transients and loads. Assess the confirmed material, geometry, joint and surface package for those conditions, including any required water-contact approval. Agree material, dimensional and end inspections, coating records, marking, preservation and delivery against the plant requirements before release.
