This ASME SA182 F316 PN16 flange enquiry requires a documented material and conformity package. Clarify the carbon-steel reference and any applicable PED requirements before ordering. Listing terminology does not establish supplied certification, an accepted material allocation or numerical operating capability.
Request evidence for the named component
Select one of the fifteen actual Flange choices: each 10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm, 50 mm and 30 mm label is offered with Stainless Steel, Alloy or Carbon Steel. Define the size label's nominal or measured role, then specify material designation, grade, condition and traceable inspection records.
Identify the applicable SA182 document, edition and component requirements. Do not assume F316 conformity for every material alternative. For PED-related requirements, obtain the relevant documents, product scope, identifiers, responsible issuing parties where applicable and evidence linking the supplied item to those records. Review the actual coverage before accepting a certification claim.
Define the flange beyond its photographs
The inspected views show an open-bore drilled component with a raised central annulus and a side profile. They cannot certify grade, production or a standardized facing. Confirm supplied subtype, pipe attachment and mating construction on an approved drawing.
Include bore, outside diameter, thickness, relevant annular geometry, bolt circle, hole quantity and diameters, sealing-face finish and tolerances. The separate 0.26-inch mounting-hole entry is insufficient for complete drilling. Customized Size and Equal/Hexagon wording require acceptance against the agreed geometry.
Agree inspection coverage and actual duty
Obtain relevant forged-production records, component-specific welding requirements and defined painting coverage with functional-surface exclusions. Establish governing material-temperature conditions for PN16 and Class 150 without assumed equivalence. State medium, pressure, temperature, cycling and loads; agree mating flange, gasket, bolting, installation, inspection, OEM/ODM/OBM deliverables and stated one-year warranty terms.
